Early Help
It's good to talk. We're here to help.
At Meadows Primary School and Nursery, we wish to establish excellent relationships with our children and their families in order to ensure that our children and families are enabled to aspire, grow and flourish. Our school has an open-door policy which we encourage you to make use of;
Members of our Senior Leadership Team are available at the gates every morning to greet the children, and are always happy to speak to parents if they have any messages or concerns to discuss. You can also message these leaders via ClassDojo, or e-mail the school: a3362@telford.gov.uk
If you have a concern during the school closure periods, please e-mail meadowsconcern@taw.org.uk. This e-mail address is monitored daily, every day of the year.
We encourage parents and carers to come to us and share any changes in family circumstances, worries or challenges. In doing so, we are best able to support you and your child.

What Early Help can we Offer You?
We aim to look to support families at the earliest opportunity and we do this in a number of ways. This process is called Early Help and looks to draw on a range of support, by both signposting parents to services accessible to all and also accessing more targeted services such as Strengthening Families and BeeU. This support is time limited and focused on working with families to achieve change together. Parents will meet with their Early Help Lead Professional around every 6-8 weeks to see how the agreed actions are going and agree new ones.
If you feel your family might benefit from Early Help support, please contact school and ask to speak with Jayne Roberts (Inclusion Manager and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead).
Types of Help
Our ultimate job as a Primary School is ‘to make things better’ for children and families in our community and as such, our Early Help is a golden thread throughout the life of our school. The below list is not
exhaustive!

Mrs Jayne RobertsInclusion Manager
Mrs Jayne Roberts
I am proud to say I am a member of the Meadows family and have worked at Meadows Primary School and Nursery since it amalgamated in 2006 and before this at Ketley Infants school.
My roles in school include Inclusion Manager, Attendance Lead and I am also a Deputy Safeguarding Lead.
My passion is to see all children have the chance to fulfil their potential and to champion them on their journey through their Primary Education and on to the next their steps.
Outside of school I have a busy life sharing experiences and making memories with my family and friends, many of which have also started their educational journeys at Meadows Primary School!

Mrs Cheryl Breeze
Hello, I am Mrs Breeze and I have worked at Meadows since 2021.
I am delighted to be the SEND and Well-being Teaching Assistant for Meadows.
This means that I run a daily nurture group, Meadows Club, every afternoon along with being ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) trained and Drawing and Talking Therapy trained, which mean I support children with their social, emotional and mental health needs.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming and reading. I have a Masters in Science - Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing.
