Meet the Governors

Anna Sydenham

I have been the Headteacher at Meadows Primary School and Nursery since the school opened
in 2005. As Headteacher I attend all Governing Body meetings, including committee meetings. I ensure that suggestions about school improvement are shared with staff and that information about school is shared with Governors.

Cllr Joy Francis

I have lived in Ketley all my life and have been a Governor for about 6 years.  I was appointed by Telford and Wrekin Council when I was a Borough Councillor for Ketley, but now that term has ended I have stayed on as an Appeals Governor and Finance and Personnel, Salaries and Grades, Premises and Health and Safety Governor.I have been in education all my working life teaching in various schools in the area.  Now I run two Daycare Nurseries in Wellington. On the Governoring body I have responsibility for Children in care and sit on Finance, and Health, Safety & Buildings Committees.  I am Link Governor for Early Years Foundation Stage which I love as it enables me to visit classes and play with the children!
I have four sons, all grown up now, and all of whom started their educational journey at Ketley Infant School - as did I many years ago!

Lorraine Warner

I have worked in the education system now for approximately 10 years. I joined Meadows Primary School in 2009 working in Key Stage 1. Throughout the last 8 years I have worked with pupils in years 1 to 5. I have undertaken a great deal of training during this period ensuring I remain up to date with the latest curriculum. I am a qualified cover supervisor ensuring seamless delivery in the absence of the teacher. In addition to my core duties within school, I also currently help to deliver Film Club and After School Club. I am very pleased to have been elected on to the board of school governors as a staff governor and I hope this position will enable me to improve the education that our children receive.
